Loujaina Abdelwahed is an assistant professor of economics in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Cooper Union. Her research focuses on natural resources and their impact on various economic outcomes, including economic inequalities, election results, and fiscal policies.
Abdelwahed received her Ph.D. in economics from the University of Illinois at Chicago and her M.A. and B.A. in economics from the American University in Cairo.
