The Washington Center for Equitable Growth is a non-profit research and grantmaking organization dedicated to advancing evidence-backed ideas and policies that promote strong, stable, and broad-based economic growth.

About Us
The Washington Center for Equitable Growth is a nonprofit, nonpartisan economic policy organization that connects economic evidence and policy to promote shared prosperity and growth. We do this by funding policy-relevant research, elevating scholars and their work within the policy world, and translating evidence for policymakers.
Founded in 2013, Equitable Growth has also seeded more than $12.7 million to more than 400 scholars in the United States through its competitive grants program.

For more than a decade, the Washington Center for Equitable Growth has supported scholars across U.S. universities to produce research that informs policy decisions. Our network of more than 400 academics includes both established experts and emerging researchers from a wide range of disciplines and institutions.
Through dedicated programming and policy engagement, we prepare scholars to connect their work to real-world decision-making. With expertise spanning AI, social insurance, taxes, wages, child care, and broader economic trends, this network serves as a critical resource for understanding the economy and shaping effective policy solutions.
