Piotr Dworczak is an assistant professor of economics at Northwestern University. He received bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and economics at the University of Warsaw and the Warsaw School of Economics, respectively, and then completed his Ph.D. at Stanford Graduate School of Business.

He studies mechanism and information design, with specific focuses in market design, questions of redistribution, and the role of information in financial markets.
