Troup Howard is an assistant professor of finance at the University of Utah. His research explores how regional economic outcomes and household finances are affected by the fiscal choices of state and local governments, with particular attention to public debt and taxation.
He holds an A.B. in English literature from the University of Chicago, an M.B.A from Northwestern University, and an M.A. and a Ph.D. in finance the from University of California, Berkeley.
