Eric Chyn is an associate professor at the University of Texas at Austin. Prior, he was an assistant professor in the Department of Economics at Dartmouth College and an assistant professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Virginia.
He is also a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER). His primary research fields are labor, urban and public economics. In his recent work, he studied the effects of government programs and policies on children. He received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Michigan.
