David Evans

David Evans is the former director of design & branding at the Washington Center for Equitable Growth. Prior to joining Equitable Growth, David worked for Bloomberg News as a graphics reporter and at USA Today as a visual journalist.
He has collaborated closely with reporters, editors, analysts, and other multimedia professionals to create animated-diagrammatic infographics, data visualizations, and multimedia essays.
His work has been recognized by the Society of News Design, Editor & Publisher, the National Press Photographers Association, and the Online News Association. He earned a bachelor’s of fine arts degree in communication arts and design from Virginia Commonwealth University.
