Ben Zipperer was a Research Economist at the Washington Center for Equitable Growth. His research focused on the minimum wage and other labor standards, measuring how specific labor market policies affect the income distribution, productivity, and employment.

He received a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a B.S. in mathematics from the University of Georgia.
