Louphou Coulibaly is an assistant professor in the Department of Economics at University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research focuses on international finance and macroeconomics, with an emphasis on the design of monetary policy and macroprudential policies.

Coulibaly received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Montreal and his M.Sc. in economics and statistics from ENSEA (Côte d’Ivoire). From 2019–2021, Coulibaly was an assistant professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Pittsburgh.
