Krista Ruffini is an assistant professor at Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy. Her research focuses on labor and public economics, with an emphasis on examining how income support policies affect education, labor market, and health outcomes.
Previously, Ruffini was a visiting scholar at the Minneapolis Federal Reserve Bank’s Opportunity and Inclusive Growth Institute.
She received her Ph.D. in public policy from the University of California, Berkeley, and holds an M.P.A. from the London School of Economics and a B.A. in economics, international relations, and political science from Boston University.
