Jacob Hacker is the Stanley B. Resor Professor of Political Science at Yale University.

He is the co-director of the Ludwig Program in Public Sector Leadership at Yale Law School, director of the American Political Economy eXchange at the Institution for Social and Policy Studies, and co-director of the multi-university Consortium on American Political Economy.He has a Ph.D. from Harvard and a B.A. from Yale.
