Kyle K. Moore is an economist at the Economic Policy Institute. He was previously a senior policy analyst at the U.S. Congress Joint Economic Committee.
Moore is pursuing a Ph.D. in economics at The New School for Social Research, studying racial economic disparities and the effects of poorly designed economic policy on marginalized groups.
His goal is to conduct interdisciplinary, historically contextualized, and policy-oriented economic research directed at explaining and reducing racial inequality in the United States. His current research focuses on the effects of disparities in income, wealth, and exposure to stressful events on racial disparities in health.
