Fern Ramoutar is a Ph.D. candidate studying economics at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. She is an applied microeconomist whose research focuses on economic and racial inequality, food insecurity, urban economics, and political economy.
Ramoutar holds a B.A. in economics and international relations from the University of Toronto and an M.A. in economics from the University of British Columbia.
